Anubias Barteri Petite Round on Lava Stone

Description

  • Botanical Name: Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Petite Round’

  • Common Name(s): Anubias Petite Round, Dwarf Anubias Petite, Round Leaf Anubias

  • Description: Anubias Barteri ‘Petite Round’ on Lava Stone is a compact and elegant aquatic plant featuring small, rounded, deep-green leaves with a naturally glossy finish. Pre-attached to porous lava stone, this arrangement offers a ready-to-place aquascaping accent that adds texture and dimension to aquariums, terrariums, or paludariums. Its slow growth and low profile make it ideal for nano tanks, foreground placement, or attaching to driftwood and rock layouts. The rich green foliage contrasts beautifully against the rugged lava stone, creating a refined and natural aesthetic.

  • Care: Anubias ‘Petite Round’ is a hardy, low-maintenance plant suitable for beginners and experienced hobbyists alike. It thrives in low to moderate light and does not require CO₂ supplementation, though it can benefit from it. Keep the rhizome above substrate to prevent rot (when not mounted). It prefers temperatures between 72–82°F and adapts well to a range of water parameters. Minimal trimming is needed due to its slow growth rate, making it an excellent choice for stable, long-term aquascapes.
